Parler (@ParlerMedia), a social media platform favored by the Donald Trump-loving Republicans, has been bought by Starboard (@starboardllc), a media company near Washington D.C. Parler was created in 2018 as an alternative to Twitter. Parler briefly struck a deal with rapper and entrepreneur Kanye West, but the agreement fell apart. According to The Wall Street Journal, Parler has approximately 250,000 active users per month.
